Designer : SHIHO SHIROMA
Shiho had studies designed and pattern at fashion academy in Japan.
She won the 1st prize of fashion competition when graduating the academy.
Also she was nominated and winning award of the highest- performing student, and graduated top of the class.
She had worked as a designer at the brand, in 2007 she decided to set up for own label.
In the same year, she established own brand and design office.
In 2009, her work displayed in the event called “under le louvre” at Musee du Louvre in Paris.
After that, she did an installation using digital high-tech and apps at French Embassy.
Changed the brand name as “SHIROMA”, and started to create the collection with full range.
In 2010 FW, presented the collection(as exhibition) during Paris fashion week.
In 2011, SHIROMA had nominated as one of emerging designers from Mercedes-Benz fashion week Tokyo(MBFWT) out of six designers.
In 2012 SS, SHIROMA participated catwalk show for the first time in Tokyo. Until now, SHIROMA continues participating Tokyo fashion week
with catwalk show style.
In 2013 FW, SHIROMA opened flagship store and press office at Omotesando, Tokyo.
Also presented the collection by digital installation using digital high-tech and apps.
In 2014 SS collection, SHIROMA presented an installation with using “VR” (Oculus Rift).
It was large scale installation created by projection mapping and VR which attracted audiences.
In 2014, SHIROMA won the award called “TOKYO NEW DESIGNER FASHION GRAND PRIX PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY”.
In 2015, SHIROMA presented the collection as an installation during New York fashion week.
From 2016, SHIROMA has been participating Shanghai fashion week, and “MODE SHANGHAI”.
